Ocean
Beach Dog Beach
Ocean Beach Dog Beach is open to canines
any time. This small beach has plenty of sand for the dogs to
run on, and waves for them to run through. On weekends there can
be up to 100 dogs here, so be sure you can control your dog, use
a muzzle if there's any chance of trouble and keep vaccinations
up to date. (click

10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY FOR BAJA
ANIMAL SANCTUARY -
NEEDS HELP ASAP...PLEASE DONATE!!!!
The Baja
Animal Sanctuary is thriving in their new location in the
hills above Rosarito. Improvements to the Sanctuary are being
made every single day. Currently, they're seeking help to improve
their medical /
surgical facilities. On March 31st, a Fundraiser is scheduled
for the dual purpose of celebrating the Sanctuary's 10th Anniversary
and raising funds to purchase anesthesia equipment, stainless
steel surgical tables and a surgical lighting system.

The Baja
Animal Sanctuary does so much good for so many suffering animals
in need and now they need our help. Anyone who has ever been to
Mexico understands the plight of these poor animals, and the Baja
Animal Sanctuary is one of the few, if only, organizations trying
to help.
There is no better place that your money could go and it is an IRS
approved 501(c)(3) organization, so your donation is tax deductible.
Please contact them for more information at bajadogs@aol.com. You
can visit their website at www.BajaAnimalSanctuary.org
or call 011-521-661-112-0126. Anything you can do to help them is
appreciated, whether it is a donation or adopting an animal from
them. Sunset Cliffs Animal Hospital will give a free first physical
exam and flea treatment to any animal adopted from the Sanctuary. |
SUNSET CLIFFS ANIMAL HOSPITAL HELPS
ANIMALS IN BAJA, MEXICO
Anyone who has ever been to Mexico knows
that there are so many animals in Mexico that are in dire need
of medical care, food, and attention. For the past few years we
have been donating supplies to the Baja Animal Sanctuary, located
near Rosarito. The Baja Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit shelter
that provides a home for the homeless animals walking the streets
in need and tries to adopt them out to homes where they will be
loved. If we have medications, samples, food, or equipment that
we no longer can use we will send it down to the Sanctuary where
we know they can use these items. Also, occasionally a client
will return medication that they no longer need for their pet
and we will donate that as well.
While we have always donated material goods, on May 11 we took
a trip down there as a staff to donate our time, medical knowledge,
and love. It was a very rewarding trip, but there is still much
that needs to be done. We helped clean kennels, bathed animals,
and the Doctor's treated some animals that needed medical attention.
It made us all feel so good to help out. We will go back again
later this year to help out more. If you would like to find out
how you can adopt an animal from the Sanctuary, make a donation,
or help out visit their website at www.bajadogs.org.
